Spanish Study Trip

Pupils from Years 9 and 10 had a great experience on the school's Study Trip to Spain. Staying in a delightful hotel in Santillana del Mar they enjoyed good food in the beautiful surroundings of this charming little town in Northern Spain. Three mornings were spent in a specialist language school in Santander where pupils extended their knowledge of Spanish with intensive tuition, followed by excursions in the afternoon, including a trip by cable car to nearly 2,000 metres above sea level to the spectacular 'Picos de Europa' where they picnicked in the sun and snow and free time in the evenings when plenty of football and fun was had by all!

We are looking forward to a return trip in May to build on this year's excellent GCSE Spanish results which included 5A* and 4 A grades!
