Learning Pathways

We offer the following learning pathway tailored to enable pupils to have wider choice and flexibility and choose a relevant curriculum for their ability and needs.

The courses are reviewed annually and published during March. Parents and students will be invited into school for options evening where they will have the opportunity to discuss choices with the relevant subject teachers.

Compulsory Core - Religious Education, English, English Literature, Science, Mathematics, Welsh, Games and PSE.

Option Subjects GCSE - Art, Business Studies, Child Development, Drama, DT Resistant Materials,
DT Graphics, Food and Nutrition, Food Studies, French, Geography, History, ICT, Music, Physical Education, Spanish, Textiles.

Vocational Options - BTEC Sport.

Work Based Training - Construction, Airline Aviation, Engineering, Hairdressing, Vehicle Mechanics.

Award Schemes - Asdan, Crest Award, Duke of Edinburgh
